SIMPSON (Peterhead/Longside) Peacefully in his sleep, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Saturday, May 2, 2009, Andrew Simpson (Master Slater/Station Sub-Officer, North Eastern Fire Brigade), aged 84 years, dearly loved and cherished husband of Margaret Ritchie, 27 Station Road, Longside and a beloved father and grandfather. Service of celebration for his life, to be held in St. Andrews Parish Church, Queen Street, Peterhead, on Thursday, May 7, at 1.30 p.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers, at the church door, for Alzheimer's. `He was our north and south'.
