CLYNE Annette, Tim and Jane and the extended family sincerely thank the hundreds who sent cards, letters and flowers, who called and telephoned to express their kind sympathies on the sudden and devastating loss of Douglas. Grateful appreciation is also given to the Old High St. Stephens for the welcoming hospitality extended to all who travelled from Fraserburgh to attend the service. Thanks also to the choirs of Old High St. Stephens for their wonderful singing which Douglas would have much enjoyed. Our warm thanks to the Rev Ian Hamilton and the Rev Stephen Emery for their participation, to Mr Allan Morrice for his sincere and loving tribute to Douglas and to the Rev Peter Nimmo for his sympathetic and uplifting service. His moving tribute, his kindness and supportive visits at this difficult time have been greatly appreciated. Grateful thanks are also given to Nairn Old Parish Church for the use of their halls for refreshments after the interment at Nairn Cemetery. The overwhelming generosity of Old High St. Stephens in providing these refreshments will never be forgotten. We were truly blessed and surrounded with love and kindness. We would also like to thank Messrs. D. Chisholm & Sons, and in particular Mr David Anderson for their professional, kindly and supportive help with funeral arrangements. To all who gave so generously, raising the sum of ?2736.00 for the Bible Lands Society, a charity held dear to Douglas, please accept our warmest thanks.
