MACKAY It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing, in Raigmore Hospital, on Saturday, July 20, 2024, of Alexander (Alec) Mackay, formerly of A&D House Furnishers Ltd, Thurso. Much loved and cherished husband of Irene, dearly loved dad of David, Joan and stepson Niall. Father-in-law to Eileen and George. A dear grandad of Debbie, Stacey, David and Iona, step-grandpa of Daniel, great-grandad of Joshua and Emilia. Funeral service within Ormlie Lodge Service Rooms, Thurso, at 11am, on Friday, August 2, thereafter to Thurso Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited. No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, may be given at the service, in aid of Thurso R.N.L.I.
