ORR Morag, Graham, Gordon, David and their families wish to acknowledge the overwhelming kindness and support shown to them in their loss of Douglas. Particular thanks to the Rev. Manson Merchant for his diligent pastoral care of Douglas and all of us, for his up- lifting funeral service and thanks also to the Rev. Joan Thorne and Finlay Morse. Our thanks to New Dyce Medical Practice and the Community Nursing team, Boots Pharmacy Dyce, Bon Accord Care, and the Macmillan and Marie Curie Nurses, their professional care was outstanding. Wm Gilchrist Funeralcare for their excellent service and support and the New Greentrees for their sustaining refreshments. To all who attended the funeral service, sent cards and letters and donated to Aberdeen Mountain Rescue. The sum of £1,043 was raised, which incidentally was the height of the last Munro that Douglas climbed (Meall nan Tarmachan).
