MILNE (Bridge of Don/Torry) Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Barbara Scott Carroll (nee Caldwell) aged 86 years (former shop owner Beach Boulevard). Devoted wife of John Mackie Spalding, much loved mum of John and Philip, mother-in-law to Marie, very proud grandma of Rebecca, Declan and John, adored great-grandma (GG) to Nicholas, Mason and bump, loving sister to Andrew, a dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and a great friend to many. Funeral service to be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, in St Machar Cathedral, Chanonry, Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen, AB24 1RQ, at 12 noon to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, thereafter private. Family flowers only please, but donations can be given, if so desired, in aid of Dementia Centre, King Street, Aberdeen, at cathedral door. No callers please. Black ties optional. Barbara will be very sadly missed by all who knew her.
