PIRIE (Aberdeen) Mildred Pirie passed away after a short illness on her 93rd birthday on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She had a long and happy life and shared many of those years with her late, loving husband John. She was a beloved sister and sister-in-law to George, Helen and Mac, Evelyn and Michael and Eveline and Albert. Mildred was a much loved, caring and supportive aunt who played a very active role with her nieces and nephews Val, Bruce, Julie, Michael, Rosemary, Eva-Jane and Wendy. She always took an interest in their lives. She was a very good friend and neighbour to many, and the family want to thank the staff of Denmore Court, A.R.I., Rosewell House, Morning Field House and Fairview House for their care throughout her last few weeks. The funeral service will be held at South Holburn Church on Wednesday, February 2, at 11am, to which all are welcome. A private cremation will be held thereafter. Mildred will be sadly missed by all.
