GILBERT (Alford) Grace and family genuinely appreciate and thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and acquaintances for the many expressions of sympathy, cards, flowers and telephone calls received following the recent sad loss of Peter, a much loved husband, Dad and Grandad. A special thanks for all the NHS care, including GP and Alford Surgery staff, District Nurses, Oncologist, Dr Wells; all staff in Ward 114 and the Anchor Unit at ARI, Aboyne Hospital staff and to all family and friends who cared for and supported us during Pete's illness. Particular thanks to Piper, Michael Laing, for his very moving welcoming lament and sincerest thanks to those who managed to join the family to pay their last respects; to Rev. John Cook for his warm, respectful service; also to the Baldarroch Crematorium Manager, Mr Brian Petrie and organist, Natalie Mair. Grateful thanks to the staff at Haughton Arms Hotel for their excellent fly cup following the service. Our final thanks and appreciations to Jack and Bud of Duncan & McCombie, Funeral Directors for their compassionate professionalism in smoothing our path around all aspects of the funeral arrangements.
