STRACHAN (Longniddry/ Bridge of Marnoch) Andy, Vivien, Allan and Andrew wish to sincerely thank family, friends, neighbours and colleagues in the Longniddry and Banff areas for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of numerous cards, letters, flowers, telephone calls and visits following the sad loss of Isobel. During the last year or so, the respite/caring provided by family and friends, including lovely home baking, flowers etc. has been a source of great comfort. Our grateful thanks also to the doctors and staff at various ERI Wards, Cardiology and Pacemaker Clinics, Heart Failure nurse and A & E Units. Special thanks to Dr. Menzies, colleagues and staff, including OT and District Nurses at the Harbour Medical Practice, Cockenzie and Longniddry. We were also extremely grateful to Goose Green carers, East Lothian Ambulance Services, NHS 24, Macmillan Nurses and for all the specialist support and equipment provided by East Lothian Council. Thanks to Roddy, John and Bruce for a very special service at Marnoch Old Church and to Mr and Mrs Smith for their co-operation and for ensuring that the church was well presented. Thanks also to William and Iona of William Lawrie Funeral Directors for their help and very efficient arrangements. We are also grateful to Linda and Ron Thomas of the Fife Lodge Hotel and their staff for responding at short notice to double the expected number of guests and providing an excellent spread. We also appreciate those who travelled from near and far to pay their last respects at the church and churchyard, and so generously donated £540 to CHS Scotland. Thank you all very much.
