MACPHERSON (Achterneed) Katie and family of the late William MacPherson would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy received following the sad loss of Billy. Thank you for the cards, telephone calls and visits which were a great source of comfort. Special thanks to Dr. MacPherson who went to great lengths to help us, to the staff of Strathallan House including Lynne, Victoria and Jim, also the attending paramedics and air ambulance crew. Grateful thanks to all the people who paid their last respects at the church and graveside and those who travelled some distance to be with us. Grateful thanks also the Rev. Russell Smith for his comforting service, to Donnie Gunn and staff for the helpful and efficient funeral arrangements, and to Sean Kennedy from The National Hotel for the provision of refreshments. Finally our thanks goes to all those who generously donated the amount of £487 for Chest, Heart & Stroke, Scotland.
