GRANT Ken, Carole, Gavin and family would like to thank everyone for their many visits, phone calls and messages of support following their recent sad loss of Lorna. We would like to thank all the staff in Ward 43, Rosie, Margaret and the ever cheerful domestics Margaret and Gloria, the Anchor Unit's caring and supportive angels, Nicky thank you for being you and remember what Lorna told you, follow your heart. The staff in ITU, Lorna wasn't with you long but there are no words the family can say that would sum up the care you gave Lorna in the last hours. You granted her wish and gave her peace. To Ian and Violet, always at the end of the phone, to Lorna's friends Joan, Julia and Leanne, always there when needed and we will always be grateful for you. To Kath, June Marlyn and Karen we will never be able to repay you for the constant support over the years. To Donna, Lyn (Support Care) carers and friends all we can say is thank you and Jill thank you for looking after Neo. To Maria, care manager and friend, GP's, District Nurses, Phlebotomist and receptionists at Denburn. The staff at Croft Tavern and anyone we may have missed thank you. Thanks also to Bob Johnstone for his moving and uplifting tribute to Lorna. To Angela and staff at Gordon and Watsons for their help and professional services. The collection at the service raised £500 for the Anchor Unit. Lorna fought long and hard with lots of courage. To all mentioned, we have all had the rough edge of her tongue on a bad day and laughed with her great humour on a good day, but we will miss you Lorna. Rest now my darling.
