Suddenly, on April 2, 2005, after an illness bravely fought, Douglas William Ritchie, aged 78 years, formerly foreman painter at Dunecht Estates, dearly loved husband of Isobel Stott, beloved dad to Alison, June and Irene, doting granda to Tracey, Gillian and Victoria (my wee quine), dear father-in-la w to David and Dean and a dear brother. Funeral service in Echt Parish Church on Thursday, April 7, at 2 p.m., thereafter to churchyard. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for Anchor Unit at church door. Resting at home.
