Peacefully, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Sunday, December 19, 2004, Violet E. R. Reid, nee Downie, aged 74 years, Kingsmead Nursing Home, Kingswells, late of Learigg, Kingswells, beloved wife of the late Sydney George Reid, much loved mum of Lindsay, Louise and David, mother-in-la w of Phyllis and Bruce, devoted granny of Rachael, Sarah and Natalie, Jack and Jordon, and a dear sister. Funeral service at Kingswells Parish Church, on Thursday, December 23, at 1 p.m., thereafter to Newhills Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Ward 28, A.R.I. at the church door.
