George, constant friend and loving husband to Sheena, patient father to Helen-Louise, proud papa to Lydia, Madeleine and Nicholas, father-in-la w to Kevin, brother to Eleanor and Ian, son of the late George and Helen (Lerwick). George died very suddenly, whilst on holiday with his family in Whitby, he suffered a stroke and passed quietly and with dignity in the early hours of Saturday, November 13, the staff at Scarborough Hospital ensured his last hours were peaceful, which was a great comfort to us all. A service of thanksgiving is to be held in St. Andrew's Church, Peterhead, to remember George and to celebrate his life, the service will take place at 12.30 p.m., on Friday, November 26.
