John Dickie (Ian to everyone), aged 81 years, formerly of Grant Coppersmiths, Dufftown, quietly left us at Spynie Care Home, Elgin, on Sunday, March 14, 2004, loving husband of the late Jessie Hendry, adored father of June, father-in-la w of Bill, much loved granda to Ian, Nicola, Iona, Paul and a great-granda to Sadie. The "Founder" was a friend to many in Dufftown and a servant to his community. A service of thanksgiving for the life of the wee man with the big heart will be held in the Mortlach Parish Church, on Wednesday, March 17, at 11.00 a.m., interment thereafter in Mortlach Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, but donations in aid of Alzheimers Scotland will be gratefully recieved at the church door. Himself Again! www.obituariesonline .net
