GRANTCharlie Gill Grant passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Burnside Care Home, Laurencekirk. A proud Gordon Highlander (1954-1961), Charlie served during conflict in Cyprus and later in the Territorial Army, after his discharge he worked in the Agricultural trade throughout his life in Aberdeenshire. Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Violet (Vi), dearly loved father to his daughter Elizabeth and his late daughter Linda, a cherished father-in-law, grandfather to four and great grandfather to seven. Funeral service will be held in Laurencekirk Parish Church, on Wednesday, November 29, at 12 noon, thereafter to Laurencekirk Cemetery to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired will be greatly accepted in aid of Dementia UK in Charlie's memory.
