MACKENZIE Alistair and Ian, The Gate, Culkein, Stoer, would like to thank doctors, nurses and staff of the Assynt Medical Practice for their care and attention throughout George's period of ill health. They would also like to express their sincere gratitude to the ambulance personnel and Lochinver Stores staff for their help on the day George passed away, Rev Andrew Fraser for his support, John Mackenzie who led the praise, Allan Bruce for his kindness and efficient funeral arrangements, all who paid their last respects and sent cards and letters of condolence and also to friends who provided and helped with refreshments at Stoer Hall. The sum of ?547.99 was collected at the church door, for the Assynt Medical Practice Equipment Fund.
