REID Janet, Peter and Michael wish to kindly thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their sympathy and support during Pete's illness and in their sad loss. Pete would have been truly overwhelmed at the kindness, cards, telephone calls, flowers and visitors his family received during this sad time. Thanks to the paramedics and rapid response team, doctors, nurses and carers at A & E and the Bleeding Unit, ARI. Special thanks to all the staff of the Anchor Unit and Radiography Department, ARI who cared for Pete with compassion and humour during his illness. Thanks also to Funeral Director, Mark Shaw for the sympathetic and professional way he carried out all the funeral arrangements, to Alexander and Douglas Rankin at Clovery Woods, and to Pam MacDonald of the Humanist Society of Scotland for her kind words at the service. Finally, sincere thanks to the overwhelming number of people who came to pay their last respects at Clovery Woods of Rest, and for the donations amounting to ?1000 for the Anchor Unit, ARI.
