BUCHAN (Fraserburgh) Elizabeth, James and families of the late Liz Buchan wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy shown to them personally, by cards and flowers in the sad loss of our dearly loved mother and granny. Liz went through a very difficult time since the earlier passing of our dad in October 2005 and never really fully adjusted to life without him. We wish to especially thank those who helped and supported her during this difficult 3 year period, when she continued to live at Albany Court, including the wardens Trudy and Sheena, the carers, in particular Fiona and the friends who visited faithfully. We also wish to acknowledge the staff of Ward 34, A.R.I. for their help and support in her last days, also the staff at Skene Ward, Royal Cornhill Hospital where she was a patient during her final few months. Grateful thanks to Rev Harry Thomson for his comforting and understanding service and James McLeay for his guidance and support in making all the necessary funeral arrangements. As a result of the free-will offering at the church, a donation of ?400 has been made to the The Skene Ward, Royal Cornhill Hospital. Thanks to all who contributed. We would encourage all who knew her to help fulfil one of her last wishes, which was to remember the good times by doing just that. We take encouragement in the knowledge that mam is now at peace and together with dad, safe in the arms of God, which is the fulfillment of their shared faith. God is good.
