SMITH (Peterhead) The family of the late Mr Alfred James Smith wish to convey their sincere appreciation to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kindness extended to them both during their dad's illness and in his recent peaceful passing. The expressions of sympathy by way of cards, letters, telephone calls and personal callers along with the donations received in lieu of flowers at the church for chosen charities were greatly appreciated. Thanking the family doctor along with doctors and staff of Summers Ward, Peterhead Community Hospital for their tender loving care. To Father Mark Impson for his much appreciated words of comfort, hospital visitations and pastoral support and to the many who paid their last respects both in St Mary's Church and at Grange Cemetery. To Robert Mackie and staff for their excellent caring and efficient funeral arrangements and finally to management and staff at the Palace Hotel for their refreshments provided. "Rest in peace".
