BUCHAN (Tarland) Rhoda and family would like to thank all family and friends who supported them following Alex's death. They are grateful for the many cards, letters, e-mails, flowers and messages of sympathy they have received, the family also extend their thanks to Dr Starritt for his care and attention given to Alex during his illness and his continuing support for Rhoda, to the community nurses from Aboyne, to Rev Tony Watts for his compassion and understanding, to Callum and Cameron of Brian Smith Funeral Services whose professionalism helped the family enormously and to everyone who attended the service of thanksgiving at St Moluag's Church and donated ?403.44 to Poppyscotland and the Earl Haig Poppy Fund.
