BALGOWAN (Stonehaven) Peacefully, after a short illness bravely fought, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Sunday, January 26, 2025, Ian James, aged 79 years. Loving husband of the late Diane, a much loved dad and father-in-law of Christine and George, Wendy and Ali, Evelyn and Andy, also the best grandad to Jessica and a dear friend to many. A celebration of Ian's life will take place at Fetteresso Parish Church, Stonehaven, on Thursday, February 13, at 11am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, interment thereafter private. At Ian's request bright colours and no black ties. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu if desired to Tolbooth Museum and RNLI Stonehaven, at church door.
