MACIVER Val OBE (Evanton) Val passed away, peacefully, in Ward 7A, Raigmore Hospital, following a short illness which was bourne with immense dignity, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, aged 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Alex MacIver. Mum to Jen, Cai and Don. Gran to Aidan, Niamh and Ollie and a very dear sister. Friend and advocate for many throughout the Highlands and Islands. Private cremation. All friends and colleagues, past and present, are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life, at St Andrews Cathedral, Inverness, on Thursday, August 8, commencing at 12.30pm.
