BUCHAN Derek Stephen Buchan, after a short illness, passed away peacefully and in no more pain, cared for by staff, consultants and close family at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Sunday, June 9, 2024, aged 77. Younger son of the late John and Ruth Buchan, a fiercely proud and devoted brother to the late June, Brian, Ruth, Heather and Mavis, a dear brother-in-law, adored uncle and great-uncle. A wonderful friend, highly respected work and church colleague, and much loved neighbour. Generous to many causes. Cremation at Baldarroch, Crathes, at 11.30am, on Friday, June 21. All friends very welcome, flowers appreciated. Gone bravely, but too quickly and too soon. "Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth."
