HUTTON (Aberlour) Carol and Iain are devastated to announce the sudden and unexpec- ted death of their adored dad Charles, aged 84, on Thursday, May 9, 2024, while walking on Ben Rinnes. Loved father-in-law of Graham and Fiona, precious grandad of Kirsten, Ailidh, Morven, Connor, Nathan and Megan, and loving great- grandad to Lillie, Alix, Ayla-Mae and Imogen. No flowers, please. No funeral, at Charlie's request.

We are currently in North Yorkshire in our camper van on our way to make a surprise visit to Charlie. Neither of his numbers worked so we googled his name only to discover he has passed away on his favourite mountain.We are so sad. Charlie and Janet were witnesses to our wedding in Kenya while they were on safari for their 30 th wedding anniversary. We hit it off as soon as we met and were overjoyed when they agreed to attend our wedding. Since that time we have stayed in contact, exchanged cards met up in Sussex and spoken on the phone. On our 30th anniversary we decided to visit and although Janet was very poorly we had a lovely couple of days and went out for a “posh” meal to celebrate at a lovely hotel. Sadly Janet passed away soon after. To all the family we feel sad for your loss but what a full life they led. I will always remember his Ghurka stories and Janet’s endless supply of “ happy feet “sweets on safari. We will raise our glasses tonight to a wonderful couple x
