DUNCAN (Forres) Suddenly, at Newtonmore, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Robert Thompson Duncan of Nicolson Place, Forres, aged 90 years, a sadly missed relative and friend. Funeral service at Tom Ross & Sons' Chapel, Orchard Road, Forres, on Thursday, April 11, at 11am, thereafter a private burial. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, may be given at the service to Elgin Model Railway Club.

We met late in my life. Your grandchildren always remember you at the model railway exhibitions and how you took time and patience to show them everything. Wish we could have known each other better. Thanks for the times we had together. Kim x x x x

A lovely man, Rob, and a kind friend. Stalwart at the broadcast team at Dr Gray's. He loved life and will be greatly missed.

Bob was a member of Moray Model Railway Group since before I joined in 1995. He travelled to Elgin from the Udny to attend club nights as often as weather allowed and he was able. He operated many of our layouts at exhibitions but his favourite was operating the Club's Thomas the Tank Engine charity layout where children could operate the trains for a small donation in return receiving a lollipop or some other small token. Over the years many charities, mostly local, benefited including Child groups and The Forres Academy Mount Dora twinning association. His death, in such tragic circumstances shocked us all and we will miss but remember his helpful comments.
