Happy Memories

Robert Doyle

09 April 2024
So sad to hear of Glen's passing. I have many happy memories of time spent with Glen at Chadwell Primary School, Torells Comprehensive and Palmers College. But mostly of our time away from school, playing on the Atari in the living room at Tally-Ho, basic programming on Glen's BBC B computer, trying to fathom the complexities (for me anyway) of the game Elite - at which Glen excelled. And then outside to the stables where the SG's (Stable girls) were our mortal enemies ! I still have a small notebook from school, which has silly games, rhymes and comments that we made up during lessons and break times, fond memories of a once dear friend....... Kindest regards and deepest condolences Rob (Robert) Doyle
