HIGGINS It is with great sadness, that we announce the unexpected death of Dorothy Ann Higgins (Dot), at ARI, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Best friend and soulmate of husband Stuart, loving and much-loved Mum to Anita, devoted 'Nina' to Daniel, also a beloved mother-in-law, and a dear friend to many. Dot was a long-standing member of the congregation at Kingswells Parish Church and was a dedicated volunteer for Barnardo's and the WVS. Funeral private at her own request. Resting at Berriedale Funeral Home, Lawsondale Avenue, Westhill.

It was with great sadness I heard that Dot had passed. I knew Dot for only a few days in Woodend Hospital Rehab Unit. I immediately got on well with her, as did everyone in the ward. We had the same sense of humour. I lost count of the times we would look at each other and shake our heads at some confusion. It was always why! I would watch her so easily interact with everyone. It was a pleasure knowing Dot, even though it was for a short time. Rest in Peace Dot. Stuart and Anita, and all the family please accept my condolences. Margaret
