ALEXANDER (Elgin) Peacefully, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, after a short illness with family beside him, on Friday, February 16, 2024, Duncan Kennedy, aged 85 years, of Fleurs Road. Retired Depute Rector and Chemistry Teacher, Elgin Academy, Elder of Elgin Parish Church and longtime champion of Scouting. Duncan will be sadly missed by his sisters Liz and Rosemary, brother-in-law Neil, nephew Michael, nieces Jenny and Suzanne and wider family and friends. Funeral service to which all friends are respectfully invited at Elgin Parish Church on Wednesday, February 28, at 12 noon. Thereafter cremation private. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, at church for Christian Aid and Scouts. Resting at William Watson Funeral Directors, Blackfriars Road, Elgin.
