STENTON Lost his brave battle with cancer, aged 62, but never lost his smile, Alistair, auditor at Offshore Helicopter Services, at Roxburghe House, on August 29, 2023. Much loved husband to his wife Moira, daughter Nicole, son-in-law Michael and proud grandpa to Lucas, Theo and Oscar. Special "wee" brother to John and Andrew. Alistair made many life long friends during 45 years in the aviation industry in Aberdeen and Shetland and as an extraordinary champion of charities. His kindness and generosity will live on. A celebration of his life will be held at Dyce Parish Church, on Wednesday, September 13, at 12 noon, followed by a short cremation service at 1.15pm, at Aberdeen Crematorium, West Chapel, for those who wish to attend and a gathering for happy memories at the Chester Hotel, in Queens Road, from 1.15pm. No flowers please, but donations welcome for Friends of Anchor and Friends of Roxburghe House at the church door.
