DUNCAN (Ellon) Suddenly, but peacefully, after a short illness, at his home, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, George Duncan, aged 67 years, beloved husband of Pat, much loved dad to Greig and Ross, a devoted grandad, brother and friend to many. Funeral service at Aberdeen Crematorium (West Chapel), on Thursday, June 15, at 1.15pm. All welcome. Family flowers only, please. Donations welcome, in lieu, at the chapel exit for Macmillan nurses and Marie Curie. He will be sadly missed.

George was a dear friend and colleague and the Weatherford family. His intelligent and never ending energy was instrumental to the day to day operations of the completion division. He will forever be etched into our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We have lost a good one.

George could always be counted on to tell you how it is. He was a great asset to Weatherford in so many ways from the very start of our Weatherford Completions enterprise. He helped us get numerous facilities in multiple countries up and running and could always be counted on to put together a ship shape operation. I will miss him. Rest in Peace George.
