LEYS Banff Catherine (Kate nee McRae) died peacefully at home in her husband's arms, on August 1, 2022, after a short illness. She was 78. She is survived by her husband Alex, her only son, three grandsons and a great-grandson. Kate was a dignified lady, who cared passionately for her family, and was held with great affection and in high esteem, by all who knew her. The funeral service, which is private, will be at Gerriesfield, Banff, before interment at Marnoch Cemetery, just a short distance from her family home.
