WAKEFIELD With deep love, respect and sorrow, we announce the death of Geraldine Ann Wakefield (Ann), of Peterculter, on July 20, 2022, aged 83 years, suddenly in A.R.I. A&E (retired P.E. teacher, long-standing Culter Community Councillor and tireless volunteer worker). Dearly loved wife of David, mother of Michael, surrogate mother to Callum, Jihad and Valerie, and exceptional friend to so many. Ann enriched all with unreserved generosity, hospitality, love, respect and commitment. She soars to the refrain of the pipes and drums, a free spirit, proud Yorkshire woman and Scot by choice, for all time. Arrangements for funeral and celebration of her life to follow.
