MURRAY (Dyce) Peacefully, after a sair fecht at ARI on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Ian aged 79 years. Loving husband of Elma, dearest dad of Aileen, Steven and Lindsay, father-in-law to Lorraine, Kevin and the late Helen. Much loved and adored granda to Julie, Candice, Taylor, Jamie, Jack, Katie, Abbie and Ashleigh. Proud great-granda to Lily, Daisy, Harrison, Arlo and Alfie. Much loved brother of Betty, Sandy and Patricia, brother-in-law and friend to many. Funeral service at Dyce Parish Church, on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 11am, thereafter to Newmachar Church Yard. Family flowers only please but donations can be given, if so desired, at church door for Macmillan Nursing Care. Sorely missed and forever in our hearts. Bright colours or touch of tartan would be nice.

Very sad to hear the news that Ian has passed away. I had the pleasure of working with Ian many many times at Macintosh Donald. He was very proud of his refrigeration plant at that site, in all my years in the refrigeration trade I have never seen such clean and tidy plantrooms. Ian is a true gentleman and I will always have the highest respect for this man. Rest in peace dear Ian x
