TAYLOR (New Pitsligo) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Simpson Taylor (Jim) at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Monday, April 4, 2022, aged 84 years. Jim was a dearly loved and cherished husband of Gladys (nee Wood), a much loved and loving dad of David, a dear father-in-law of May and a proud and loving granda of Callum. Formerly of Grampian and Glasgow Police and the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards, Jim was also a member of their pipe bands, latterly serving as Grampian Police Pipe Major. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him. Service in Moray Crematorium, Broadley, by Buckie AB56 5HR, on Tuesday, April 12, at 12.30pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please.
