MACKENZIE (Muir of Ord) Donald MacDonald MacKenzie (Donnie), formerly of the Isle of Harris, Kinkell, Killen, Red Field and Muir of Ord, passed away peacefully, at Castlehill Care Home, Inverness, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, with his beloved family by his side. A much loved husband of Ettie, dad to James and Alistair, brother to Willie and Davy, father-in-law to Joan and Alison, grandad to Megan, Ewen and Bronwyn, great-grandad to Maisie. A well known dog handler, who was loved by all his extended family and friends. Donnie will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held at Urray Free Church, Muir of Ord, on Friday, July 23, commencing at 1.30pm, thereafter to Tore Cemetery, at 2.30pm. The funeral cortege will pass the family home (Maranatha), on Balvaird Road, passing through the Heights of Kilcoy, where Donnie trained his dogs.
