Norma Anderson 04/08/2016 Five years sweetheart, since that sad sad day. From this world, they told me you were leaving, I have missed your bright eyes and sweet smile, And you've taken, with you, all the sunshine, That had brightened our lives this long while. As I sat by your bedside that morning, All my love and my tears were for you, But my prayers and my pleas went unanswered, And with sorrow, I bade you adieu. It's been lonely without you, my Darling, But your presence I feel, is my guide, And the comfort that brings me, dear Norma, Will last, till we're back, side by side. Stay close sweetheart.
