ALLAN Peacefully, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Thursday, June 10, 2021, Irene aged 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Lou and a much loved aunty and good friend to many. Funeral private due to current restrictions.

Sadly missed, and deeply mourned, a good friend to my mum and when mum passed became a good friend to me. Well travelled, full of fun and a pleasure to know. Reunited with her beloved Lou. Much love xx

Just heard today about you’re passing, phoned ARI, I’m just so sad,you were a great friend to my mum and when she passed you and I became great pals, will miss the stories of all you’re adventures. You lived a full life and you are now with Lou. Sadly missed, all my love Lindsey xxx
Fun-loving Irene!

Irene was a lovely, fun-loving lady who was always happy. She enjoyed a laugh and a joke and of course a few “drinkies”! A favourite line was “be good girls, nah, dinna”! She will be remembered by her many friends from Aberdeen University. We’ll certainly miss her at our regular get togethers, once COVID restrictions allow and will raise a glass in her memory. Very sorry we are unable to pay our last respects.
