DINNIE (Banchory) Peacefully after a short illness at Inchmarlo Care Home on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Pat, aged 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Lubin Dinnie, much loved mum to Lubin and Mandy, mother-in-law to Alison and David, grandmother to Cameron and Callum. Funeral will be private.

We are saddened our dear friend Pat has passed on. Pat and Sandy had known each other as young people. We re-connected with Pat, Mandy and young Lubin in Banchory in1976 when Sandy returned to Banchory for a holiday with Beth, Darlene and James. His first trip back to Scotland after immigrating to Canada in 1958. We had a wonderful time together at the Burnett Arms with Burt, swimming at Aboyne pool and touring Crathes Castle etc. Our renewed friendship has spanned 45 years. Pat, big Lubin and Mandy came to Canada for Expo 1986 when they met Beth's family and toured BC. More trips to Banchory, meeting in Las Vegas, Pat coming to Victoria to celebrate Sandy's 80th and a trip together to Hawaii. Always remembering our birthdays and having so many good laughs together. Pat was kind, generous, game for adventure and full of fun. She was our connection to Sandy's home town, Banchory and everything Scottish. She enriched our lives and we will sorely miss her. We send our love and condolences to Mandy & David, young Lubin & his family. Beth and Sandy Rogers, Victoria BC Canada
