THOMSON (Tarves) John (Jackie) Hendry Thomson, passed away peacefully, at home on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, aged 85 years. Closely involved in local organisations including the Tarves Community Council (Vice Chair), Tarves Heritage Project (Vice Chair), Tarves Ramblers (Chair), Tarves Branch Royal British Legion Scotland (Secretary/Treasurer), Standard Bearer, Welfare Officer and Poppy Convenor) and the Royal British Legion Scotland East Aberdeenshire Landward Zone (Secretary/Treasurer and Vice-chair). He will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. Sadly due to current restrictions the funeral will be private.
