THOMSON (Ellon) Alan, Susan, Struan and Iona would sincerely like to express their thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for all the cards, telephone calls, letters and e-mails received following their sad loss of Marion. We are sorry that in the absence of everyone's phone number or address we were unable to thank you all personally. Thanks again to all her friends and neighbours in the caring and supportive community of Ellon and further afield for their many expressions of sympathy and for their many warm tributes in her memory. Thank you also to everyone for your generosity in donating to the Macmillan Nurses to whom we express our thanks for their care and support throughout Marion's long battle. We thank Ray and his team at G Burgess and Son for their care and professionalism and for arranging with the Crematorium staff to set up the live stream of the service. We would especially thank Rev Alastair Bruce of Ellon Parish Church, not only for his moving tribute at the service but also for the support and devotion extended to Marion by Alastair and the church elders in Marion's last few painful years. We thank the doctors and staff at Ellon Health Centre and the doctors, nurses and support staff in ARI for all their care and efforts in making Marion's last few months as comfortable as possible. Finally, thanks again to all her friends and neighbours who took time to pay their last respects to Marion on her final journey. You are all truly very special people.
