HOWIE (Crathie/Wembley/ Watford) Sadly after a short illness, John David Rankin (known as David), aged 80 years, passed away, on January 6, 2021, in Watford. Dearly loved husband of Lesley, much loved father of Peter and a loving gramps. Dear brother of Andrew and Jean. David spent his childhood in Crathie at Coldrach and Tomidhu Cottage. After leaving Ballater School David worked for a short time at Balmoral Estates before venturing south. Very proud of his Scottish roots and spent many happy holidays in Scotland. Forever a "Dons" fan. Will be greatly missed.
