MACDONALD-HAIG (DRUMNADROCHIT) Peacefully, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on September 9, 2020, Neva MacDonald-Haig MBE, aged 96 years, Drumalan, Drumnadrochit. Devoted wife of the late Sandy MacDonald (died 1963) and Major Hugo Haig MC (died 2011). Beloved mother of Duncan, Annabel, Geordie, Craig and the late Jeremy, Jennie and Peter. Loving grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many. Founder and Patron of The Highland Group, Riding for the Disabled Association. Sincere thanks to all Raigmore Hospital staff on wards 3 and 4a. Private funeral in accordance with current government restrictions. Neva's cortege will pass through the village of Drumnadrochit, via Lewiston and Balmacaan Road, on Monday, September 21, at 12 noon to allow the local community to pay their last respects.
