MORRISON (Beauly) Peacefully, after a short illness at Raigmore Hospital, with his family by his side on Saturday, June 13, 2020, John Alick Morrison, age 84 years. Former acting Chief Superintendent Northern Constabulary, retired Emergency Planning Officer Highland Health Board and past President of Beauly Shinty Club. Beloved husband of Thelma, much loved dad of Lynn and Iain, dear brother of Shona and Mary, respected father-in-law of Rognvald and Fiona, cherished Granda of Sarah, Euan, Fiona, Calum and Andrew and friend to many. Sadly missed. With grateful thanks to all NHS staff involved in John's care. Regrettably, under current restrictions, private funeral. John will take a final run round the braes of Beauly and make a last visit to his beloved Beauly shinty pitch at approximately 1pm, before interment at Kilmorack cemetery on Friday, June 19.
