The cortege will leave 217 Cairncry Road at approximately 10:15am on Thursday, May 28, and proceed along Anderson Drive towards the Kings Gate roundabout and then along Kings Gate towards Hazlehead. Mourners are welcome to wave goodbye along the cortege route. A memorial to celebrate Ally's life will take place at a later date.
15 June 2020 I learned of Ally's passing last week. I was Ally's keyboard Player from 1987 - 1989 until I emigrated to Australia. I can honestly say that it was the best 2 years of my musical semi-pro life. He was brilliant to work with and had a fantastic sense of humour. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great character and he will be sadly missed by Aberdeen music fan everywhere. My condolences, Ian Scorgie, Perth, Australia.
