PIRIE With the heaviest of hearts in these surreal times the family of Thomas would like to announce his peaceful passing on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020, ages 94 years. He was an ex Army Commando and formerly of Hepworths, Esslemont & Macintosh and McCalls gents retailers. Forever loved husband of his darling wife Christina, a very devoted father, gaga, great gaga and a good friend to many. Tom was one of life's great and positive characters, no one ever forgot him once they had met him. He embraced life each day with such a spirit and strength. Tom had a great sense on humour, was king, loving and wise and always wanted to help his fellow man. Tom was still quoting his beloved poetry right up to the end. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves memories no one can steal". Funeral service private due to current restrictions.

Hello I just wanted to say that when each morning I walk my dog on the tow path I sit on Tom’s bench and say good morning to him. Know he loves the view. God bless
