MACKAY The family of Donald Angus Mackay (Angus) would like to express their sincere thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours, the Church family and former colleagues for the warmth and support given during and after Angus' short illness. We also want to acknowledge the professionalism and sensitivity of the members of the Scottish Ambulance Service staff who first attended Angus and the staff of Ward 403 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary who cared for him. Thanks also to Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes; Callum Innes of McKay & Innes, Funeral Directors, who showed such respect and dignity; and Rev. Dr John Ferguson, whose farewell service gave us such strength. We will gather at a later date to say a final farewell at Melness Cemetery, nestling beside the Kyle of Tongue, best described as follows: "Oh Kyle of Tongue, Fair Kyle of Tongue, Thy praises never half be sung, No poet's pen nor painter's art, Thy dreams of beauty can impart."
