GRANT Captain William (Bill), (formerly of Burnieboozle Crescent Aberdeen), has dropped anchor for the last time at Pitcairn Nursing Home on Friday, April 3, after a long illness aged 89. Long time devoted partner of Annie, husband to the late Vi, loving father to Philip and Pamela, and a dear father-in-law to Alice. Brother to Gordon and Mary both departed. Avid former walker with the Woodburn Walkers and Airyhall Ramblers. Friend to many. With grateful thanks to Pitcairn Nursing Home over the years for their loving care. Funeral private due to the current circumstances, however, perhaps friends, fellow walkers, and loved ones of Bill would take a moment on Friday, April 10, at 12 noon to remember the good times.

09 April 2020 I have wonderful memories of you, the Koala Bear you bought us, when you stopped in on a quick visit. To the stories you used to tell when we visited for the 2 weeks in the summer. Will lift a glass with Mom and Dad tomorrow. Thinking of you Pam and Philip. Love Rita, Harry and Deborah. Xx
Sorry to hear this sad news
