DES-FOUNTAIN/GILES (South Africa/ formerly of Fyvie) Suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, in Durban, South Africa, Edith (Edie) nee Giles, aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late Bill Brown and John Des-Fountain. Devoted mam to Linda, Neil, Marie, Ken and Carole, much loved mother-in-law, granny to 15 and great-granny to 10. Former proprietor of the Vale Hotel in Fyvie and first female pilot at the Pegasus Flying Club in Aberdeen. Globe-trotting until the very end, Ediemam will be sorely missed by all her family.
