My heart has been left broken, Since the day you had to go, And the memories I treasure dearly, Are in the tears that still flow. You left me with memories, And I love you dearly still, No matter how much time has gone by, You know I always will. If only I could have the chance, To see your face once more, Or to hear your voice one final time, Just like it was before. I know I cannot bring you back, Although I wish it everyday, But a piece of me went with you, The day you went away.
