SMITH Suddenly on Friday, July 12, 2019, after a short illness, June, aged 67 years. Beloved daughter of the late Andy and Madge Smith, dearly loved sister of Andrew and a dear aunt and great aunt. Funeral Service in Mark Shaw Funeral Services Chapel, 26 Abbotswelll Crescent, Aberdeen AB12 5JW on Monday, July 29, at 1.30pm. All friends respectfully invited. No flowers please.

My sincere condolences to Andrew and his family on learning of June’s death. She was a kind and loving friend to many people over the years, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a skilled musician, and became a dedicated teacher of music within the educational establishment. She also did voluntary teaching of the English language to those most in need of it within the Prison Service. She was a modest person who had a quiet and gentle sense of humour, and always downplayed her valuable personal contribution and commitment to assisting others within the community in whatever way she could. She was devoted to my late mother, Tibbie, and I’ll never forget how she went out of her way whilst also leading a very busy life herself to be of practical and regular assistance to my mother when she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Rest in peace, dear June.
